The Vogue Max is the flagship, with a stainless-steel heat exchanger (genuinely rare at this price point), a colour LCD display, weather compensation compatibility and a 12-year guarantee. The Vogue Max 32 kW Combi is the model we recommend most often when customers want stainless-steel build quality without paying full Viessmann or Worcester 8000 prices.

Day-to-day we find Ideal boilers honest, reliable and easy to service. The Logic Max in particular is built to a price point that allows us to offer competitive fully-fitted prices without cutting corners on the install — which means more Chorley homeowners get a proper warranty-registered job for less. Build quality on the Vogue Max is genuinely premium and the stainless-steel heat exchanger is an underrated feature at this money. Our two minor gripes: the Logic Max's hot-water flow rate is slightly below class-leading at higher kW outputs (the 35 will satisfy most homes but not a power shower plus a running tap), and the Halo smart-thermostat range is good but not the polished ecosystem you get from Hive or Nest. But for British-built, well-supported, properly-warrantied heating at a fair price, Ideal sits right at the top of our recommendations.
