Who we are

This page is maintained by Instant Plumbing & Heating, a family-run heating and plumbing business based in Chorley, Lancashire (Gas Safe Register No. 677053). We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our services.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, address, phone number and email — when you request a quote, book a job or message us.
• Job details such as boiler model, property information and photos you send to help us quote or diagnose a fault.
• Website data — anonymous analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) so we can improve the site.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to enquiries, provide quotes, arrange and carry out work, take payment, meet legal and Gas Safe record-keeping obligations, and keep the website secure and working properly.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business — for example our email, hosting, booking and payment providers — and with authorities where required by law (e.g. Gas Safe notifications for new boiler installs).

How long we keep it

Quote and enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for at least 6 years to meet accounting, warranty and Gas Safe requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to restrict how we use it. To make a request, email hello@instantplumbingandheating.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
